Second defeat of league's leaderCantu (6-2) against eighth ranked Agrigento (3-5) 96-78 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Cantu. Agrigento shot 62.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 63.0 percentage. Agrigento looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (195-1985, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Guard Lorenzo Ambrosin (195-1997) contributed with 20 points and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Nicola Berdini (184-2003) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American center Solomon Young (203-1998, college: Iowa St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Cantu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Agrigento moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Cantu at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. They were replaced at the leadership position by Trapani.
