Regular Season Round 5: RaPy - HBA-Marsky 79-98

There was a minor upset in Tampere where 7th rankedRaPy (2-3) was crushed by ninth ranked HBA-Marsky (2-3) 98-79 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by HBA-Marsky. RaPy managed to win fourth quarter 25-19 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded RaPy 44-29 including a 30-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. HBA-Marsky looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Rasmus Lindberg (201-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Olavi Suutela (203-2006) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Veikko Niskanen (188-2002) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and Bulgarian guard Angel Mavrodiev (183-1991) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. RaPy's coach Juho Jaakkola tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. HBA-Marsky moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated RaPy. RaPy lost their third game in a row.
