Regular Season Round 11: Le Mans - Nancy 98-66

There was an upset when higher rankedSluc Nancy (6-4) was outscored on the road by ninth ranked Le Mans (6-5) 98-66 on Saturday. Le Mans made 18-of-18 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 19 Sluc Nancy turnovers. Le Mans looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman DShawn Schwartz (201-1999, college: GMU) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import guard DeVante Jones (186-1998, college: Michigan) accounted for 15 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winning side. Five Le Mans players scored in double figures. Jamaican center Shevon Thompson (213-1993, college: GMU) came up with 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American point guard Frank Mason III (180-1994, college: Kansas) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Sluc Nancy in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Le Mans have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Sluc Nancy keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Cholet.
