There was a small surprise when ninth rankedWKS Slask (4-4) defeated 6th ranked Dziki (4-4) in Wroclaw 78-72 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when WKS Slask made 8 blocks. The winners were led by Belarusian center Artsiom Parakhouski (211-1987, college: Radford) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Serbian center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by American forward Nick McGlynn (206-1996, college: Drake) did not help to save the game for Dziki . His fellow American import point guard Matt Coleman III (188-1998, college: Texas) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. WKS Slask moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Dziki . Dziki lost third consecutive game.
