There was a small surprise in Valencia where eleventh ranked Xativa (2-4) won against 9th ranked Carolinas (2-5) 69-58 on Sunday. Forward Miguel Raez (200-1979) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Enrique Revert (-2000) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Beninese forward Nathan Cledjo (198-2000) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds and Alejandro Blazquez (-2001) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Xativa moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Carolinas lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with 12 other teams. Xativa will meet higher ranked Elche (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
