Regular Season Round 9: Boras - Norrkoping 76-85

Basketligan top team - Norrkoping (7-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Boras (3-5) 85-76. Norrkoping dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Boras' 32. Norrkoping players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international center Adam Ramstedt (206-1995) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Issac Vann (198-1995, college: VCU) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Norrkoping players scored in double figures. American swingman Ibrahim Watson-Boye (196-1998, college: Dayton) came up with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Boras in the defeat. Norrkoping have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Boras lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Uppsala. Norrkoping will play against bottom-ranked Umea (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Boras will play against the league's second-placed Jamtland in Ostersund and hope to get back on the winning track.
