Regular Season Round 11: Tarbes-Lourdes - Toulouse 56-65

There was an upset when higher ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (5-6) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Toulouse (4-7) 65-56 on Tuesday. It was a great evening for Serbian-Montenegrin power forward Luka Nikolic (209-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Jonathan Boucaud (187-1995) responded with 10 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Marius Chambre (182-1998) scored 9 points. Toulouse moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Lourdes-Tarbes keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. Toulouse will meet at home higher ranked Vendee Challans (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lourdes-Tarbes will play against Vitre and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
