Very important is a road loss of second rankedParis Basket (9-3) against sixteenth ranked Chorale de Roanne (5-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Paris Basket was defeated by Chorale de Roanne in a tough game in Roanne 76-83 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Paris Basket. Chorale de Roanne made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Paris Basket was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by the former international power forward Yannis Morin (208-1993) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and American point guard DJ Cooper (183-1990, college: Ohio) supported him with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Chorale de Roanne players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 9 assists by American-North Macedonian point guard TJ Shorts (175-1997, college: UC Davis) did not help to save the game for Paris Basket . American Tyson Ward (198-1997, college: NDSU) added 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chorale de Roanne have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 5 other teams. Paris Basket at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost.
