Regular Season Round 5: Visby - Ostersund 61-78

Rather predictable result when sixth ranked Ostersund (3-2) defeated on the road 9th ranked Visby (1-4) 78-61 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American Jessica Kelliher (183-1997, college: Lewis) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. The former international guard Astrid Sandberg (180-2003) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. American guard Raziyah Farrington (173-1997, college: Charleston) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import forward Lashayla Wright-Ponder (182-1997, college: Tampa) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ostersund moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hogsbo and Uppsala. Loser Visby keeps the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Mark and IK Eos. Ostersund will meet Sjuharads (#8) in the next round. Visby will play against Norrkoping and hope to win that game.
