There was a surprise result in Slupsk where thirteenth rankedCzarni (3-5) outscored higher ranked WKS Slask (4-5) 78-53 on Sunday. Czarni dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to WKS Slask 's 26. Czarni looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian center Benas Griciunas (210-1994, college: EWU) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Michal Michalak (196-1993) chipped in 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) who recorded 8 points and 9 rebounds and international point guard Lukasz Kolenda (195-1999) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Czarni moved-up to eleventh place. Loser WKS Slask keeps the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Dziki.
