The former international swingman Alessandro Gentile (201-1992, agency: SLN) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Gerald Robinson (185-1989, college: Georgia) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Four Openjobmetis Varese and five Scafati players scored in double figures. Scafati's coach Stefano Sacripanti rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Openjobmetis Varese moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Pesaro and Pistoia. Loser Scafati dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Cremona and Tortona.
