Regular Season Round 8: Evreux - Nantes 78-70

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Nantes (3-5) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked ALM Evreux (3-5) 78-70 on Friday. The winners were led by Killian Malwaya (197-2005) who scored that evening 16 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian-Moroccan guard Yasiin Joseph (186-1996, college: Carleton) supported him with 18 points. Five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds by Bulgarian forward Bryce Nze (202-1998, college: Butler) did not help to save the game for Nantes. DR Congolese-American guard Christian Lutete (196-1996, college: UMass Lowell) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Evreux moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Nantes. Nantes lost fifth consecutive game. ALM Evreux will meet Olympique Antibes (#17) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nantes will play against Etoile Angers (#14) and hope to secure a win.
