The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Cento's (5-6) home victory over 9th ranked Cividale (3-8) 78-67 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for guard Federico Mussini (188-1996, college: St.John's) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. American guard Wendell Mitchell (190-1997, college: Texas A&M) accounted for 16 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Gabriele Miani (202-2000, agency: SLN) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Giacomo DellAgnello (198-1994) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Cividale in the defeat. Cento moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Piacenza. Cividale lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Monferrato. Cento will meet higher ranked Forli (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cividale will play against Verona (#6) and hope to secure a win.
