There was a minor upset in Mykonos where one of their biggest challengersMykonou (6-4) was defeated by seventh ranked Megaridas (6-4) 93-87 on Wednesday. Megaridas shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Petros Geromichalos (203-1994) fired 26 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. American point guard Christian Bradford (185-1995, college: Radford) chipped in 31 points and 5 assists. Worth to mention Bradford played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Guard Dimitris Stamatis (190-1996) produced 19 points and 5 assists and point guard Nikos Houhoumis (186-1996) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Five Mykonou players scored in double figures. Mykonou's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Megaridas moved-up to third place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Mykonou .
