No shocking result in a game in Reykjavik where ninth rankedThor (3-6) defeated bottom-ranked Armann (1-8) 100-84 on Friday. Hungarian-American power forward Jason Gigliotti (203-1999, college: UM-Dearborn) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Reynir Robertsson (186) chipped in 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Thor AK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Anders Adersteg (197-1995) with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Devaughn Jenkins (201-1995, college: Angelo St.) scored 25 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Thor moved-up to eighth place. Armann lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost.
