Important game to mention about took place in Lucenec. Eighth rankedLucenec (5-9) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Handlova (9-4) 98-97 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Handlova. Lucenec players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Shamar Givance (178, college: UTEP) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 assists. Montenegrin forward Vasilije Knezevic (202-1996) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Joshua Scott (185-1998, college: Thomas Univ.) with 29 points and 7 assists and the other American import guard Jordan Harris (185-1999, college: GVSU) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Lucenec and four Handlova players scored in double figures. Lucenec moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Inter Bratislava. Handlova at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Komarno.
