Regular Season Round 11: Peja - Ylli 91-75

An interesting game for Peja (8-3) which hosted in Peja 4th placed Ylli (6-5). Second ranked Peja had an easy win 91-75. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Ylli. Peja forced 19 Ylli turnovers. It was a great evening for American swingman Justin Edler-Davis (193-1998, college: CSUB) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international center Lis Shoshi (211-1994, college: UALR) helped adding 14 points and 11 rebounds. American center Chris Harris (208-1997, college: Houston) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Croatian swingman Jan Palokaj (198-2000, agency: BIG) scored 18 points and 5 assists. Five Peja and four Ylli players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains second place with 8-3 record behind leader Trepca. Ylli at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Prishtina and Vellaznimi. Peja will play against bottom-ranked Istogu (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ylli will play against Vellaznimi (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
