Karhubasket (#9) forced the game against Korihait (#4) into an overtime, but lost by five points 111-116 . The game took place in Kauhajoki. But the guests from Uusikaupunki were better at the end. The guests were tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They eventually won an overtime period 28-23. Korihait made 24-of-31 charity shots (77.4 percent) during the game. The winners were led by power forward Mikael Aalto (205-1994) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Wesley Person Jr (190-1995, college: Troy) supported him with 33 points (!!!). Even 37 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds by the former international Topias Palmi (195-1994, agency: Blacktop Management) did not help to save the game for Karhubasket . American forward Samuel Givens (198-1989, college: Drexel) added 20 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Korihait and four Karhubasket players scored in double figures. Korihait (8-4) moved-up to third place, which they share with Kataja. Karhubasket lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost.
