There was no surprise when bottom-rankedCimbis (0-10) was crushed on the road by ninth ranked Badajoz Acad. (5-6) 103-49 on Saturday. Badajoz Acad. forced 26 Cimbis turnovers and outrebounded them 42-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. Badajoz Acad. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Cimbis ' players. It was a great evening for Canadian-Jamaican guard NKosi Kedar Salam (191-1994, college: Simon Fraser, agency: Helping Ballers) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. Edgar Moure helped adding 11 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Carlos Galan (201-2002) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Pedro Ortega (200-1992) scored 4 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Badajoz Acad. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 16 other teams. Cimbis at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost.
