Rather expected game when 8th rankedForssan Alku (3-8) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Vimpelin Veto (5-7) 84-63 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by ViVe. FoA managed to win fourth quarter 18-16 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ViVe dominated on the defensive end, holding Forssan Alku to just 6 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Forssan Alku 42-31 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court. At the other side the best for losing team was center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and guard Jade Vega (165-1997, college: CS Fullerton) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ViVe maintains fifth position with 5-7 record. FoA lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. They share the position with Kouvot.
