There was a minor upset when 9th rankedOurense (6-6) lost at home to twelfth ranked Melilla (5-7) 65-59 on Saturday. Strangely Ourense outrebounded Melilla 48-36 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American Parker Van Dyke (191-1994, college: Utah) who scored that evening 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Oscar Alvarado (184-1991) supported him with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds by Croatian power forward Ivica Radic (208-1990) did not help to save the game for Ourense . Norwegian forward Karamo Jawara (203-1991, college: NCCU) added 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Melilla moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Cantabria. Ourense lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Lleida and Oviedo.
