Regular Season Round 16: Prievidza - Inter Bratislava 84-86

The most exciting game of round 16 in the Nike SBL took place in Prievidza. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th rankedPrievidza (5-9) to eighth ranked Inter Bratislava (6-9) 86-84 in the game for the sixth place. 25 personal fouls committed by Prievidza helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian forward Ozren Pavlovic (203-1994, college: Hawaii) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and Bosnian-Croatian power forward Gojko Sudzum (203-1994) who added 21 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Inter Bratislava's coach Danilo Rakocevic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Romeo Crouch (192-1998, college: Embry Riddle) responded with 23 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Kevion Taylor (196-1999, college: Valpo) scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava moved-up to sixth place. Prievidza at the other side dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost.
