The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Aanekoski:Kipina (#4) and Huima (#6). Kipina (8-1) won against visiting Huima (4-7) 94-83 . The game without a history. Kipina led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kipina made 7 blocks. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Coryon Mason (181-1999, college: ACU) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Nathaniel Pollard Jr (196-2000, college: UMES, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 blocks for the winners. Pollard Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Kipina players scored in double figures. Kipina's coach Joni Hautsalo used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Isaiah Lewis (201-2001, college: NC-Wesleyan, agency: Blacktop Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 22 rebounds and guard Corevon Lott (185-1999, college: Keiser) added 27 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Huima. Kipina have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with JBA. Huima at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost.
