Rather expected game when 8th rankedPolonia W-wa (2-6) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Lublin (4-4) 75-50 on Sunday. Lublin made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Lublin had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Polonia W-wa 's players. The best player for the winners was Swedish forward Elin Gustavsson (190-1993, college: Colorado St.) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Aleksandra Ziemborska (182-2000) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Lublin players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Zada Williams (188-1996, college: Florida) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Kayla Wells (183-1999, college: Texas A&M) added 13 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 4-4 record. Loser Polonia W-wa keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Torun and Bydgoszcz.
