Regular Season Round 13: Sokol - MKS DG 96-98

There was no surprise in Lancut where 15th rankedSokol (3-10) was edged by twelfth ranked MKS (6-7) 98-96 on Friday. MKS forced 20 Sokol turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Spanish Marc Garcia (197-1996) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winners and American guard Tayler Persons (191-1995, college: Ball St., agency: Players Group) chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals. MKS's coach Boris Balibrea used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Tyler Cheese (193-1996, college: Akron) responded with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Trinidad and Tobago point guard Terrell Gomez (173-1998, college: SDSU) scored 18 points and 6 assists. Five Sokol players scored in double figures. MKS moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Slask and Czarni. Loser Sokol keeps the fifteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Zastal.
