Very predictable result when second rankedScrivia (10-1) rolled over at home 8th ranked Giussano (5-6) 83-51 on Saturday. Scrivia dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Giussano 's 26 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Giussano 45-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for international point guard Beatrice Attura (170-1994, college: NSU) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Francesca Melchiori (174-1993) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Four Scrivia players scored in double figures. Coach Orazio Cutugno's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Polish forward Klaudia Niedzwiedzka (186-1998, agency: Interperformances) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and forward Giulia Manzotti (178-1993) added 13 points respectively for Giussano in the defeat. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Scrivia . They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Valdarno and Roseto. Giussano lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Mantova.
