There was no surprise when 9th rankedGimle (6-10) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Tromso (11-6) 90-78 on Saturday. Tromso dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Gimle 's 38. American guard Xavier Fuller (196, college: NAU, agency: Haylett Sports) scored 31 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ghanian power forward Reggie Agbeko (203-1992, college: St.Louis, agency: Helping Ballers) chipped in 19 points and 17 rebounds during the contest. Tromso's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Hallvard Staff (203-2002, college: MVNU) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Reidar Greve (184-2002) scored 19 points and 5 assists. Tromso have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Centrum and Froya Basket. Defending champion Gimle dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Nidaros Jets.
