Serie A top team -Brescia (10-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Reggio Emilia (7-5) 77-70 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Reggio Emilia. The winners were led by Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-1989) who scored that evening 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and American guard CJ Massinburg (190-1997, college: Buffalo) supported him with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by American point guard Briante Weber (188-1992, college: VCU) did not help to save the game for Reggio Emilia . His fellow American import Kevin Hervey (206-1996, college: UT Arlington) added 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brescia have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record. Loser Reggio Emilia keeps the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Milano and Napoli.
