Everything went according to plan when third rankedValencia (10-2) outplayed at home 9th ranked Araski (5-7) 74-35 on Saturday. Valencia held Araski to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.4 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Araski 55-25 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Valencia looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by the former international swingman Queralt Casas (177-1992) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Cristina Ouvina (173-1990) supported her with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
