Very expected game when 10th rankedHapoel Beer Sheva (1-4) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Kiryat Ata (3-1) 92-72 on Sunday. Kiryat Ata forced 23 H.Be'er Sheva turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Raz Adam (193-1999) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Roy Paretsky (194-2002) produced 12 points and 8 assists and American guard Grant Sherfield (188-1999, college: Oklahoma) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Kiryat Ata and four H.Be'er Sheva players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kiryat Ata moved-up to third place. Loser Hapoel Beer Sheva dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. They share it with H.Haifa.
