There was a minor upset when 13th rankedDesio (6-9) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked Salerno (5-10) 81-73 on Sunday. Salerno had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Mattia Acunzo (203-2000, college: RMU, agency: SLN) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Naturalized Montenegrin Lazar Kekovic (204-1999) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Salerno's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Gabriele Giarelli (200-1993, agency: BIG) came up with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Giacomo Baldini (190-1996) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Desio in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Salerno moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Imola Virtus and Padova V. Loser Desio keeps the thirteenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Avellino and Fiorenzuola.
