Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh rankedRamat Hasharon and 6th ranked H.Petah Tikva had identical 2-2 record. This time Ramat Hasharon used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Petah Tikva 58-44 on Monday night. Point guard Dor Saar (165-1999, college: MTSU) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Yaara Yizchaki (168-1998) accounted for 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Lihi Azouri (172-2004) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Ofir Parpara (175-2003) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for H.Petah Tikva in the defeat. H.Petah Tikva's coach Gilad Katz rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ramat Hasharon (3-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with H.Jerusalem. Loser H.Petah Tikva keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with H.Rishon LZ. Ramat Hasharon will meet E.Holon (#8) in the next round. H.Petah Tikva will play against M.Haifa and hope to secure a win.
