There was no surprise when 16th rankedBisceglie (4-12) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked San Severo (11-5) 87-83 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. San Severo shot 32 for 44 from the free-throw line, while Bisceglie only scored sixteen points from the stripe. San Severo looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Argentinian point guard Stefano Pierotti (185-1998) fired 24 points and 9 assists for the winners. Tommaso Gatto (205-1996, agency: Players Group) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. San Severo's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized Montenegrin Janko Cepic (203-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and Raphael Chiti (195-1999, agency: SLN) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Bisceglie players scored in double figures. San Severo moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Montecatini. Bisceglie lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Taranto and Ozzano.
