The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeatedHapoel Holon (2-1) on the court of fifth ranked Kiryat Ata on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Kiryat Ata 86-82 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel Holon. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard James Batemon (185-1997, college: LMU) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) who added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures. The former international Shawn Dawson (198-1993) responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American Andrew Crawford (196-1990, college: Northwestern, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points. Kiryat Ata (4-2) moved-up to second place, which they share with M.Ramat Gan and I.Ness Ziona. H.Holon at the other side keeps the sixth position with one game lost. They share it with M.Tel-Aviv. Kiryat Ata is looking forward to face league's leader H.Tel-Aviv in Tel Aviv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. H.Holon will play at home against H.Haifa (#10) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
