Very expected game when 16th rankedBrindisi (2-12) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Cremona (7-7) 75-58 on Saturday. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Grant Golden (208-1998, college: Richmond) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Nathan Adrian (206-1995, college: WVU, agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Guard Jamel Morris (193-1992, college: Fairmont St.) responded with 22 points and forward Xavier Sneed (196-1997, college: Kansas St.) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Cremona maintains eighth position with 7-7 record, which they share with Pistoia and Scafati. Brindisi lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost.
