Regular Season Round 17: Cantu - Milano Urania 84-85

Important game to mention about took place in Cantu. Fourth ranked Milano Urania (11-6) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging second-ranked Cantu (12-5) 85-84 on Saturday evening. Milano Urania made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Cantu's players. American guard Nathanial Potts (188-1995, college: MTSU) stepped up and scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Gerald Beverly (202-1993, college: Daemen) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. The former international power forward Filippo Rossi (207-1991) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Anthony Hickey (180-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Milano Urania have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 11-6 record, which they share with Verona. Cantu at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Torino. Milano Urania will play against Rieti Real (#5) at home in the next round. Cantu will play against Torino and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
