M.Haifa can celebrate finally their first win this season after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat E.Holon (1-6) 85-59. M.Haifa made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 E.Holon turnovers. M.Haifa players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard May Revahe (167-2002) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Tamar Singer (166-2004) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Five M.Haifa players scored in double figures. Power forward Feyisayo Olawole (180-2004) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and the former international Noa Zelivanski (171-1996) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for E.Holon. M.Haifa left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with defeated E.Holon. It was E.Holon's third loss in a row. M.Haifa will play against bottom-ranked ASA Jerusalem (#10) on the road in the next round. E.Holon will play against H.Rishon LZ and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
