Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tampere:RaPy (#7) and Pyrinto Ak.A (#9). Pyrinto Ak.A was defeated at home 61-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-61. RaPy outrebounded Pyrinto Ak.A 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Tuomo Aalto (190) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and guard Karo Puittinen (195-1999) who added 12 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Kion Williams (187-2003) with 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Ossi Eskola (188-2003) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Pyrinto Ak.A players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. RaPy (5-7) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Huima. Pyrinto Ak.A lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with HBA-Marsky.
