The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th rankedKeflavik B 's (2-5) road loss to fifth ranked Hamar (5-4) 54-69 on Saturday. Hamar dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Keflavik B 's 28. They outrebounded Keflavik B 45-29 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hamar looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Aniya Thomas (170-2000, college: Missouri St.) fired 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Emma Hakonardottir (180-2005) chipped in 10 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Center Eyglo Oskarsdottir (196-2001) produced 10 points and 9 rebounds and guard Osthildur Olsen (170-2003) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hamar maintains fifth position with 5-4 record. Keflavik B lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth place with five games lost.
