Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenCentrum (11-8) and Gimle (7-11), which took place in Bergen. Higher ranked Centrum lost to ninth ranked Gimle in a road game 58-76 on Saturday. Gimle dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Centrum 's 26. Gimle looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Centrum 's players. It was an exceptional evening for international forward Hallvard Staff (203-2002, college: MVNU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-1987) accounted for 12 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. Four Gimle players scored in double figures. Gimle's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international power forward Johannes Dolven (204-1996, college: Barry) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Elias Demoniere (181-2006) added 5 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Centrum in the defeat. Defending champion moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Asker Aliens and Nidaros Jets. Centrum at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost.
