LF Endesa top team -Valencia (14-2) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat seventh ranked Gernika (9-7) 72-59 . Valencia dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Gernika 's 24. Valencia forced 22 Gernika turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international swingman Queralt Casas (177-1992) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and American forward Nadia Fingall (191-1998, college: Stanford) who added 6 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side French power forward Marie-Michelle Milapie (192-1996) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Roso Buch (179-1992) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Valencia have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-2 record. Gernika at the other side dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with IDK Eustotren.
