The game in Pembroke supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth rankedStarlites (4-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Bupa (2-5). Starlites smashed Bupa 122-74 on Sunday. Starlites shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The winners were led by American guard Christian Hinckson (201-1999, college: Binghamton) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Australian guard Matt Attard (188-1998, college: St.Francis, IL) supported him with 24 points and 4 assists. Four Starlites players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 30 points and 14 rebounds by American center Tariq Woody (203-2000, college: Fairmont St.) did not help to save the game for Bupa . The former international forward Marko Matijevic (200-1978) added 9 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Bupa at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Depiro. Starlites will meet league's leader Mellieha on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bupa will play against Valletta F. (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
