One of the most interesting games of round 18 was a derby match between two teams from Lithuania. The game took place in Klaipeda where fifth rankedNeptunas won against visiting Kibirkstis-MRU (7-3) 79-70 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kibirkstis-MRU. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian swingman Viktoriia Balaban (176-1997, agency: BIG) who scored 31 points and 4 steals. Brigita Sinickaite (175-2001) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Gabriele Sulske (177-1990) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Dalia Donskichyte (169-2000) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively. Neptunas (8-4) moved-up to fourth place. Defending Lithuanian champion Kibirkstis-MRU dropped to the fifth position with three games lost.
