Everything went according to plan when ninth rankedGalil Elion (4-5) defeated on the road 11th ranked Hapoel Beer Sheva (2-7) 96-86 on Wednesday. H.Galil Elion made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 56.3 percentage. American-Dominican center James Feldeine (193-1988, college: Quinnipiac) notched 28 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and American guard Omar Silverio (190, college: WVU) supported him with 22 points. Four Galil Elion players scored in double figures. Even 22 points (made all of his seven free throws) by American guard Grant Sherfield (188-1999, college: Oklahoma) did not help to save the game for H.Be'er Sheva . The former international swingman Joaquin Shuchman (191-1995) added 16 points for lost side. Hapoel Beer Sheva's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. H.Galil Elion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with H.Afula. H.Be'er Sheva lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. They share it with H.Haifa.
