There was no surprise when 8th rankedKoping Stars (2-16) were defeated on the road by fifth ranked Boras (11-8) 80-66 on Thursday. Boras looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for swingman Ibrahim Watson-Boye (196-1998, college: Dayton) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Ryan Logan (200-1994, college: Stonehill) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side forward Brett Reed (204-1996, college: St.Martin's) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and forward Jayden Martinez (201-2000, college: N.Texas) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Koping Stars' coach Torbjorn Gehrke rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Boras maintains fifth place with 11-8 record. Koping Stars lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Umea.
