LeaderValur delivered the tenth win on Thursday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Hamar (0-13) 111-89 . Valur forced 19 Hamar turnovers. American guard Josh Jefferson (188-1998, college: MTSU) fired 37 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Kristofer Acox (198-1993, college: Furman) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Lithuanian point guard Aurimas Urbonas (198-1993) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists and French guard Franck Kamgain (190-1999, college: HSU) added 28 points respectively for lost side. Four Valur and five Hamar players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Valur (10-3) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place. Newly promoted Hamar still closes the standings with 13 games lost.
