Rather expected game in Uusikaupunki where 7th rankedKTP-Basket (9-10) was defeated by fourth ranked Korihait (11-8) 101-89 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Korihait. KTP-Basket managed to win fourth quarter 30-22 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Korihait looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a great evening for power forward Javion Ogunyemi (206-1995, college: Siena) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Wesley Person Jr (190-1995, college: Troy) helped adding 20 points and 5 assists. At the losing side point guard Vincent Golson Jr (173-1994, college: CSUDH) responded with 23 points and 7 assists and guard Roydell Brown (198-1998, college: McNeese St.) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Korihait moved-up to third place, which they share with Kataja. Loser KTP-Basket keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Kouvot and Kobrat.
