Regular Season Round 17: Ardoi - Paterna 69-60

LF Challenge top team - Ardoi (14-2) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Paterna (11-6) in Zizur Mayor 69-60. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Paterna. Argentinian center Julieta Mungo (181-1997) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Argentinian center Diana Cabrera (186-1993) contributed with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Noa Djiu (190-2004) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Alicia Florez (175-2004) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Paterna. Ardoi have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-2 record. Paterna at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Ardoi are looking forward to face Joventut (#4) in Badalona in the next round. Paterna will play at home against the league's second-placed Zamarat and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
