Rather predictable result in Zaragoza where seventh ranked Huerva (9-6) edged 10th ranked Joventut 2 (6-9) 73-71 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Bulgarian center Spas Nikolov (208-1997, college: Winnipeg) who scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Javier Fernandez (200-2004) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Huerva's coach Jose Angel Moros used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Iker Garmendia (204-2006) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and center Ian Platteeuw (210-2007) added 6 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Huerva moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Joventut 2 dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with 6 other teams.
