Rather expected game when 12th rankedAraski (7-11) was smashed on the road by ninth ranked Ferrol (9-9) 72-53 on Saturday. Ferrol dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Araski 's 22. They outrebounded Araski 44-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. American guard Rachel Howard (178-1995, college: USF) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Myah Selland (185-1998, college: S.Dakota St.) supported her with 15 points. Ferrol's coach Lino Lopez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 11 points by power forward Laura Aliaga (182-1994) did not help to save the game for Araski . Canadian guard Samantha Hill (177-1994, college: Virginia Tech) added 10 points. Four Araski players scored in double figures. Ferrol moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ensino. Loser Araski dropped to the tenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Cadi La Seu and Jairis.
